天目湖流域位于太湖流域上游丘陵区（图1）。该区域地形起伏大，叠加湿润区降雨气候，在沟谷区形成了面广量大的池塘。这些池塘与邻近的集水坡地的构成了坡地-池塘系统，拦蓄坡地径流与流失的营养物质，形成特有的“源-汇”景观与水肥高效利用模式，成为丘陵区水分与营养盐迁移转化的关键节点。基于此，本文依托天目湖流域生态观测研究站的监测网络，选择一个具有代表性的农业池塘为研究对象，该池塘的集水坡地以集约化经营的茶园为主。

本研究通过6年的持续监测显示丘陵流域农业池塘中CO₂呈现温度驱动的季节变异特征，N₂O在夏季因集水坡地氮流失而出现排放脉冲，而CH₄则在冬季出现反直觉的峰值。前期降雨/干旱条件会产生短期的温室气体排放脉冲，且周期性掩盖了N₂O和CH₄原有的季节变异模式（而CO₂对此类水文波动不敏感）。本文也强调了准确评估池塘温室气体排放需要同时考虑池塘生物地球化学因子和受坡地产汇流过程影响的远端驱动因素。因此，未来的温室气体排放估算应考虑排放的高时间变异性以及坡地与池塘之间的动态相互作用，以实现更为稳健的估算。
