娄氐农业陪同联合国难民署、中国驻卢旺达大使馆考察难民稻作耕地开发项目

7月13日，娄氐农业技术负责人刘建新陪同联合国难民署驻基加利办事处、中国驻卢旺达大使馆，赴卢旺达东部省考察难民稻作耕地开发项目现场。

据了解，该项目由联合国难民署组织实施，主要通过耕地整理、农田水利建设及水稻生产配套，为在卢刚果（金）难民改善粮食安全、发展可持续生计提供支持。

考察期间，刘建新结合现场地形、土地利用、水稻种植及灌溉条件，就土地平整、灌排设施和稻作生产等提供了专业技术意见。

娄氐农业将继续发挥在卢旺达水稻种植和农业技术领域的经验优势，为相关项目提供力所能及的技术支持。

On 13 July, Liu Jianxin, Technical Director of Loudi Agri, accompanied representatives from the UNHCR Office in Kigali and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Rwanda on a site visit to a refugee rice-farming land development project in Rwanda’s Eastern Province.

The UNHCR-led project aims to improve food security and promote sustainable livelihoods for refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo living in Rwanda through farmland development, irrigation infrastructure construction, and rice production support.

During the visit, Liu assessed the local terrain, land use, rice cultivation, and irrigation conditions, and provided technical recommendations on land levelling, irrigation and drainage facilities, and rice production.

Loudi Agri will continue to draw on its experience in rice cultivation and agricultural technology in Rwanda to provide technical support for relevant initiatives.
