 1.Introduction to the Intelligent Ecological Farming Team

Professor Yakov Kuzyakov, Specially Appointed Faculty at Shandong Agricultural University, Professor at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, University of Göttingen, Germany's highest-level professor, internationally renowned soil ecologist, Lecture Professor under the Ministry of Education's "Changjiang Scholar Program," and High-End Foreign Expert. He has long been engaged in research areas including soil ecology, land degradation, plant rhizosphere ecology, priming effects, carbon sequestration, and element cycling. He has published over 60 highly cited papers and 15 hot papers in journals such as Nature, Nature Communications, ISME J, and Global Change Biology. With an H-index of 111, he has been consecutively listed in the Clarivate Analytics "Highly Cited Researchers" list for 9 years (2015-2023), enjoying extremely high academic reputation and broad international influence among peers worldwide. He currently serves as Associate Editor or Editorial Board Member for journals including Global Change Biology, Soil Biology & Biochemistry, and European Journal of Soil Biology. He has served as a review committee member for ecosystem projects of the German Environmental Research Council, International Science Foundation, German Science Foundation, and European Union Science Foundation. He signed with our university in November 2023 and was appointed as a Professor in the College of Agronomy.

2.Recruitment Positions and Requirements

2-4 postdoctoral positions are available in relevant areas such as Crop Cultivation and Farming System, Smart Agriculture, and Soil Microbial Ecology. The positions are open on a long-term basis.

Should meet the following conditions:

(1) Uphold the leadership of the Communist Party of China, have a strong interest in scientific research, be in good physical and mental health, and possess a high sense of responsibility.

(2) The doctoral degree should have been obtained within the last 3 years. The term of postdoctoral work is typically 2-3 years. Fresh doctoral graduates applying to enter the station must have met the basic requirements for their doctoral dissertation defense.

(3) Priority will be given to those who have published high-level SCI papers in related fields.

3.Salary and Benefits

(1) The annual salary for Specially Funded Postdoctoral Fellows is 350,000 RMB (before tax, same below), for Key Funded Postdoctoral Fellows is 250,000 RMB, and for Regular Postdoctoral Fellows is 180,000 RMB. The above benefits can be combined with funding from national and provincial talent programs.

(2) The university encourages postdoctoral fellows to apply for national and provincial postdoctoral fund projects, which will be an important indicator in postdoctoral assessments.

(3) Other benefits will be implemented in accordance with the relevant regulations of Shandong Agricultural University and the state.
