Job Description
- Number of Workers Requested:
- Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers must be able to perform a variety of tasks without close supervision, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, pruning, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Employees may occasionally drive employer-owned, non-commercial vehicles as needed to travel between the employer’s yard and nearby worksites. Vehicles include a standard passenger van and light-duty pickup trucks (including a pickup equipped with a small dump bed). Driving is incidental to the primary duties of landscaping and groundskeeping and is not a regular or primary function of the position. When driving occurs, the employee may transport other crew members and/or small landscaping tools, plants, mulch, or supplies related to the landscaping work being performed. Employees do not perform delivery services, do not haul construction materials for hire, and do not engage in commercial driving activities. No commercial driver’s license is required. All driving is local and directly related to groundskeeping operations.

Job Requirements
- Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds unassisted and 80 pounds with assistance, when necessary. OT, Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. The position requires walking, standing, and physical activity in outdoor weather conditions for approximately 8 hours per day. Employees must be able to handle and move objects using hands and arms in handling installing, and positioning and moving materials and manipulating things. Employees must be able to perform general physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs, and moving the whole body, such as lifting, balancing, climbing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
