以模式植物水稻为研究对象,运用现代分子生物学和“组学”等生物信息学技术与方法,从转录和转录后水平研究重要功能基因及植物激素在水稻生长发育、衰老与细胞程序性死亡及胁迫应答中的调控途径与分子机制,以期为作物品质和耐逆性的遗传改良提供有利用价值的基因,并创制新的育种材料和品种。
